ALEX Salmond was last night caught up in a row after it emerged he will
use a Kremlin-backed broadcaster to complain about British media bias.

The SNP’s opponents were critical of the former leader’s decision to
appear on Russia Today (RT), a channel which has come under fire for
broadcasting pro-Putin propaganda.

Today Mr Salmond will mount yet another attack on the UK media,
including the BBC, when he appears on the RT programme “Going Underground”.

Mr Salmond will use the programme, screened at 9.30am, to plug his
referendum diaries “The Dream Will Never Die”.

I read the 'Scotsman article and will scuttle back to the RT website to get away from the anti 'Yes pish we find on the Unionist rag. The owner interference in Russia Today is, most of the time considerably less than the UK MSM and what there is is less well disguised.

Suggest that readers ditch unrepresentative Scottish "news" and read Wee Ginger Dug, Bella Caledonia and Wings over Scotland. As an 'balancer these websites are excellent, perhaps they are a bit too partisan for most folk, but are an effective antidote to the propaganda (or Strategic Communications, as they call it now)is not available for the Scottish press.

So, in what way is the media outlet he uses relevant to the content of his
complaint - which most people here know to be true anyway?
